Menopause & Scalp Health: Why Caring for Your Scalp Matters

World Menopause Day | 18 October 2026

Have you noticed your scalp feeling drier, your hair becoming finer or more hair appearing in your brush?

During perimenopause and menopause, hormonal changes, particularly declining oestrogen, can affect your hair’s thickness, growth cycle and scalp condition.

While we often focus on the hair we can see, caring for the scalp underneath is just as important.

Healthy Hair Starts With Scalp Care

Your scalp is skin too, and just like your face, it deserves regular care and attention.

A simple weekly scalp ritual can help nourish dryness, support scalp comfort and encourage a little time for yourself.

A Simple Scalp Care Ritual

My Organic Rosemary Hair & Scalp Oil is made with three carefully selected certified organic ingredients:

* Jojoba oil: Helps soften and condition the scalp.
* Castor oil: Provides rich, nourishing moisture.
* Rosemary essential oil: A botanical ingredient traditionally used in haircare.

Gently massage into your scalp, leave for 30 minutes to 4 hours, then shampoo thoroughly. Use once or twice weekly as tolerated.

While scalp oil cannot reverse hormonal hair loss, caring for your scalp is a beautiful place to start.

Because healthy-looking hair deserves thoughtful care from the scalp up.

With love,
